Privacy policy

This page explains what VAPZ processes when you read the site and how to control it.

Who is responsible

VAPZ is responsible for the information processed through vapz.net. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@vapz.net.

Information processed

• Basic server and security logs: the hosting provider may record IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, timestamps, and security events so the site can be delivered and protected.
• Device-local choices: this browser stores your age confirmation and cookie preferences in local storage. These values do not contain your name or contact details.
• Messages you send: if you email VAPZ, the email address and message content are used to answer you and keep any records required for security or legal purposes.
• Editor account data: the private site owner account uses a strictly necessary session cookie. It is not used for public visitor tracking.

Why it is processed

VAPZ uses necessary technical information to deliver and secure the site, remember choices, respond to requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Where European privacy law applies, these activities rely on legitimate interests, steps requested by you, or legal obligations as appropriate. Optional analytics or advertising storage relies on consent and remains off until consent is given.

Cookies and similar storage

The current public site does not install analytics or advertising trackers. Age confirmation and privacy settings are saved in local storage. If optional services are added, they are designed to remain blocked until the corresponding choice is enabled. See the cookie policy or open cookie settings.

Sharing and international access

Hosting and security providers may process limited technical data on VAPZ's behalf. Social-share and affiliate destinations receive information under their own privacy policies only when you follow those links. VAPZ does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If vendors or practices change, this policy and the consent controls must be updated before those services are enabled.

Retention and security

Age confirmation remains in the browser until it is cleared. Cookie choices expire after 12 months so they can be requested again. Email and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, disputes, or legal requirements. Hosting-log retention is controlled by the hosting configuration. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, but no online system is risk-free.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also appeal a denied request and contact your local data-protection authority. VAPZ will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Requests can be sent to privacy@vapz.net. VAPZ may need enough information to verify the request. Browser storage can also be removed through your browser controls. Recognized Global Privacy Control signals keep advertising consent off on this site.

Age restriction

VAPZ is intended for people age 21 and over and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a person under 21 has provided personal information, contact VAPZ so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Changes

This policy will be updated when data practices, vendors, or legal requirements change. Material changes that affect consent will trigger a new choice where required.
